Global warming
Maybe some folks, particularly the religious right, remain ignorant of the disastrous consequence of global warming because its gradual increase is keeping them as blissfully unaware as a frog that has been placed in cold water that is gradually brought to a boil. Before the frog realizes it, he is in hot water.
It could be just a part of God’s master plan, and we are already in hell and God is gradually turning the heat up.

I try not to be ignorant, and I've read the studies the environmentalists have put out. I'm just not convinced by the 'facts' thats all. Maybe I'm not included in your post for once then... haha!
Reading comprehension can be a problem. It is so hard to keep up with the latest explanation for problems in learning—from attention deficit disorder (ADD) to cold deficit disorder (CDD).
If that were the case, would you guys consider sending one of your dropouts down here to take over from George W. Bush? That way there would be an increase in the general intelligence in both cities (provided we sent Bush back to Crawford, Texas). Think about it, we can use all the help we can get.
I was thinking one thing and wrote the opposite; what I meant to say was really that the opposite of CDD is a common ailment up here in Ontario.

I’d do you a three for one. We take Harper and give you guys Bush, Cheney and Rove—of course you folks have never done anything to us to have to take ‘em. I have now lived through the administrations of 12 US presidents. Never ever did I think that we would get anyone as incompetent as Bush.
